On behalf of Nova Southeastern University’s Fischler School of Education and Human Services learning community, I cordially invite you to participate in this assembly of talent. It is our distinguished honor to welcome you, and I express my hope that you will experience all that our conference has to offer.
On a personal note, I would like to extend a word of thanks and appreciation to you for the outstanding work that you do! I believe that you will find Nova Southeastern University’s Fischler School to be a strong partner in this effort as we are committed to excellence in educational programming as we successfully strive to meet the needs of working professionals and students alike.
We envision this 2009 conference entitled: Global Warning: Child, Youth, and Family Matters, to address the successful enhancement of both your professional and personal growth. During our time together, we will focus our attention on the significant contributions of every stakeholder.
I appreciate that many of you will travel great distances in order to be present at this Triennial International Child and Youth Care Conference. We have assembled leading researchers, practitioners, and child and youth care workers to engage in an important dialogue addressing the lives of children, youth, and families around the world. I ask that you explore our vast resources, share information with one another, and incorporate best-practices gleaned from our 2009 conference when you return home.
